Welcome to Bumpity Bump Pregnancy Aqua classes and I hope you and your “Bumpity Bump” can join us.
As well as keeping you fit and healthy, exercising in pregnancy can help give you more energy, sleep better and may make your labour shorter and less painful! Sounds great but safety is also important. For this reason, Bumpity Bump Aqua (from 14 weeks to 40 weeks pregnancy) is specially designed for pregnancy and each class includes an education session guided by the participants. The water provides the perfect environment for you to exercise at your own level whilst giving your body a break from the weight of your “Bumpity Bump”. It is a terrific way to socialise and meet other “Bumpity Bumpers”.
Classes are available at The Swim School in Wangara on Monday nights from 6-7pm and because they are run by Julie Lynch (Women’s Health Physiotherapist) rebates may be available from your private health fund if you have physio cover.
